Lutecium is fundamentally dedicated to transmission in order to offer the benefits of psychoanalysis to the widest range of clients. We are committed to diversity and
have geared our formation program to meet the needs of candidates whose time and financial limitations would otherwise prohibit them from furthering their psychoanalytic training. We believe that diversity and difference ignite Transmission so that the torch can be fueled by those who hold it and then pass it on. It is the delicacy and virtue of The Pass that both preserve and revolutionize the inheritance and exchange of psychoanalysis.
The Formation Program requires personal analysis, supervised training analysis, and a minimum of nine trimesters (45 units total) of coursework and cartel work. Candidates who complete these requirements will be eligible to undergo the Pass process, upon which time they will be considered for a psychoanalytic certification by the Lutecium Pass Committee. Lutecium?s International Formation Program is designed to meet training requirements of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP) and is progressing toward membership within Convergencia: Lacanian Movement for Freudian Analysis.
